After moving from New York City to Pittsburgh in 1992, we connected with the local artist community where we met and began to work for a local framer – learning the craft of custom picture framing. Later – after raising a family and working in corporate America – we were presented with an opportunity to work for a local frame shop, the former Frame Outlet. Then in 2016 we bought the shop, renamed it Wallflower Frames, and here we are!

We love art. We love color. And we love textures. Crafting custom frames is an art form of its own, and truly makes us happy. But most of all, we love to hear the stories behind the artwork. Art speaks to people in so many different ways. Each story helps us select the perfect elements to accentuate the item being framed.
